1. Need to make changes to an invoice? No worries, you can edit it
Entered an incorrect date, amount, or client name using MyInvoiceOnline.co.uk? That’s no problem. As long as the invoice hasn’t been sent out or finalised in your system, you’re free to adjust it. Head over to the Issued Invoices section, select the relevant document, and hit Edit. Once you've made your updates, save the invoice and, if needed, send it out again to your customer.
2. Track everything in your invoice timeline
Want a full picture of an invoice’s journey? Click on the invoice number in your Issued invoices list, and you’ll see a detailed summary. The sidebar will display a complete log showing:
when the invoice was generated,
the recipient and the send time,
email delivery status,
and whether the customer opened it.
This timeline gives you transparency on delivery and helps eliminate guesswork around client communication. ✅
3. All your activity history in one place
Unsure if an invoice was sent or when it was modified? After signing in, check the Events Log available right on the dashboard. This section records every key action. It’s useful for reviewing changes, checking send times, or verifying delivery.

Before diving into regular invoicing, take a moment to explore your account settings. Go to My Account, try issuing a sample invoice, and familiarise yourself with each tab. These few minutes of preparation can save you time later.
4. Send invoices straight from the platform
Once your invoice is ready, you can email it to your client directly. Just click Issue and send, and the recipient will receive a PDF version by email. You’ll see in your timeline whether it was delivered and if it’s been opened.
