Once you sign in to MyInvoiceOnline.co.uk, you’ll land in the main control panel. The top menu gives you access to key sections, including:

• Dashboard - insights into your issued invoices and tracked expenses

• Invoices - tools for generating, editing, and managing your billing documents

• Contacts - a directory of your clients and their information

• Reports - visual and tabular summaries by customer or date range

• Expenses - a record of your business costs for better financial tracking

• My Account - manage your subscription, templates, invoice statuses, password, and numbering sequences

Creating an invoice: Choosing and completing the right form

To issue an invoice accurately, begin by picking the appropriate form. Each form is tailored to specific billing needs. You’ll find all details in the article How to issue your first invoice. For a quick overview now:

1. Select an invoice type: choose from options such as standard invoices (with or without VAT), advance invoice, proforma invoice, VAT credit note or Reverse charge invoice

2. Fill out all key fields: invoice design, company details, customer data, and listed items

3. Once done, you can download your invoice and email it directly to your client
